A little about your author!!!

This is my first personal blog entry. My name is Juliette and I am a 48 yr old black woman born in Queens, New York , the year was 1961. Being raised in the Bronx-Parkchester and Co-Op and Harlem ( Lenox Terace) was very intresting, scary and made me whom I am today!!! You may not always like me,and some don't when they run into the "Virgo" other side of me and some might not like what I have to say, but one thing about me, I tell it like it is, no matter how bizzare it may sound! See I learned early that we as women possess "power" through our words..

As mentioned before that I was born in Queens, and raised in the Bronx and Harlem trust me growing up in the sixties and early seventies, life was a very different place. Drugs , junkies, were on the rise.Harlem was very dangerous, but that did not stop me from walking to the Liberation Book store on 125th and Lenox avenue,every saturday, the junkies were my friends, they kept me safe,little young, Sister J with the firey spirit.

My mothers name is Jocelyn, she was a teacher at PS 100 on story avenue for 30 yrs, she tuaght folks like Gene Anthony Ray (FAME RIP) Dianna King WBLS and me. I have many other friends that grew up in the Bronx that were blessed to have my MOM as thier Teacher, however living with Jocelyn was a intresting, intriguing,insiteful experience. She was and still is a networking fein, I too embrased her ways.Thank God for making Jocelyn, my mommie. And she is a wonderful grandmommie to my wonderful daughter.

My father Christopher Fickling aka "Sonny" was an engineer for the Bd of Estimate and Education he was an Alpha that went over in 1954 @ Howard University. "Sonny" was also a child prodigy that taught himself to play the trumpet at the tender age of 6 years old. So I have great genes. Before my parents divorce , they attended the March in 1963 in Washington DC , they were fighters for thier race, hum alot like me!! The Reunion 2009 DVD will be done very soon!!!.

I have to take the time to apologize to those that purchased the DVD
(advanced sales) for the reunion concert of June 2009@ the Castle!!!

Hello my name is Juliette and welcome to my world,today is April 21st 2010 and we are getting ready to go into production to start the summer all "white" fundraiser summer party of which all proceeds will go towards the Reunion concert we will be having in November 2010.

Just to let you know I have been successfully producting events since 1991. I have produced events for Westchester County,The House of Ahante',Stamford Town, Mall, The Support Network Inc, World Yacht,The Apollo Theatre Gospel Uptown and the list goes on.

To all musiciaans, choir directors, singers I need your schedules for June July August and September so I can try to schedule rehearsals around everyone(s) schedule. We are getting ready to organize the planning committee so all intrested in helping us secure funding and sponsors please call me
